The versatile Washington plays quarterback, defensive back and returns punts and kicks. He projects on the next level as a cornerback or a wide receiver return man.

As a junior Washington earned all-league as a defensive back and all-league punt and kick returner. He was also an all-state selection as a return man. He accounted for over 1,000 all-purpose yards in 2007.
