Virginia DB impressed UGA immediately
It did not take long for Georgia to see what they were looking for when they visited Virginia not too long ago. Coach Tony Ball saw Jordan Love running routes on the practice field, he made a couple of calls, and the athlete had an offer from the University of Georgia shortly there after.
"It was kind of funny how it all happened," said Love about the Georgia offer. "Coach Ball was up at my school and I was just out there running routes with my friends without any of the coaches around, and he got real excited."
"He got on the phone to call Coach [Willie] Martinez about me, then Coach Martinez watched my film, and the next day Coach Ball offered me a scholarship."
"Coach Ball talked to my coach (Greg Kendall), then he talked to my mother, and then he talked to me about it. It was funny how it happed so fast, but I am excited about it."
Georgia's offer moves the 6-foot-0, 185-pound corner with 4.41 speed close to double digits in offers.
