Georgia offers Rivals250 defensive lineman
Georgia has one defensive lineman committed to them in the class of 2009 and they are looking for another. Not many offers have gone out at this position, but UGA now has a new target in Sean Stanley. They extended an offer to one of the nation's best not too long ago.
"It has been busy the last couple of weeks," said Stanley. "A lot of schools have been coming through and I have picked up some new offers."
"Georgia, Michigan, and Clemson have offered me and I am up to I think 17 offers now. Most of the schools that have offered me have already been though, so it has been crazy."
The Dawgs have put an offer in Stanley's hand and he likes what he knows about UGA to this point.
"I have talked to Coach [Tony] Ball and he seems straight to the point and honest, so I like that. He is not the kind of coach that tells you what you want to hear, but he tells you how it is. I like that in a coach."
"I know they play in the SEC and that they are a strong football school. I used to live in Louisiana, so I saw them play LSU before and they are a good program. I also saw them beat Hawaii in the bowl game and I was impressed with their speed."
