Diminutive 'Baby D' packs Chapel Hill punch

CHAPEL HILL, N.C.--From afar he looks like a small rocket.

From his child-like ankles to his thin, sprinters' calves, Marine hard abdominal muscles, up to his broad shoulders, WVU defensive line commit Dominik Davenport looks as if he is ready to explode from Mother Earth.

Which is precisely why another commit, Tajh Boyd, hoped the diminutive "Baby D" would domino to West Virginia, and why lead Tidewater, Va., recruiter Chris Beatty and head coach Bill Stewart pursued him.
