The Skinny: Scott visited in the spring and left very impressed. He likes Auburn, offensive coordinator Tony Franklin's new scheme, as well as running backs coach Eddie Gran. Auburn has been the team to beat since that visit, and a decision could come before the end of the summer. As a junior, Scott put up huge numbers rushing for 2,017 yards on 250 attempts (8.1 avg.) and scoring 27 touchdowns. He also hauled in 11 passes for 157 yards and two more scores through the air. Scott was selected the state's Class 2A Player of the Year in 2007.
Quoting Scott on Auburn… "I like the coaches a lot, and it seems like a good place that I could go and get an education and play football. I really like it at Auburn. I like running backs coach Eddie Gran. He's coached a lot of running backs that are in the NFL. I just like the whole program, the campus, everything. It seems like some place I could go and call home."
