Turner turning heads again this spring

Last spring, wide receiver Terrance Turner was a relative unknown, but was playing well enough in practice to get some buzz from a few national media outlets as a potential breakout player.

A year later, the sophomore receiver is in a similar predicament.

After playing well with the second team during off-season practice last year, Turner was thought to be a possible contributor, but he was never able to make an impact. His lack of production was partly the result of a deep wide receiver depth chart that kept him off the field during much of the non-conference season, but his biggest setback came in the fifth game of the year at Iowa, when he tore his anterior cruciate ligament and was sidelined for the season.
