Mossakowski's recruitment starting to pick up

Frisco Centennial quarterback Ryan Mossakowski has been one of the best kept secrets in the Metroplex over the past few years. He began playing for a start-up program at Centennial as a freshman and won the starting job the following year. In the process, his numbers (over 5,000 yards passing with 34 touchdowns and better than a 55-percent completion rate) have been more impressive than his team's won-loss record.

Therefore, when Mossakowski's coach informed him that he had been invited to the Army All-American junior combine earlier this year in San Antonio, Mossakowski thought that he was joking.

It was no joke, however, when Mossakowski emerged as one of the top quarterbacks at the combine, surprising onlookers and maybe even himself with his performance.

The four-star prospect has scholarship offers from Auburn, Kansas, Arizona and Nebraska to go along with heavy interest from Texas A&M, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Clemson, Notre Dame, USC, Oklahoma State and Texas Tech.
