Jackson's ready to join the UGA family
One of the top defensive ends kept Georgia fans guessing if he was going to end up signing with UGA or not up until the final hour, but in the end, Toby Jackson became a Dawgs. UGASports was there on the scene and we caught up with him for this interview right after he signed.
"It feels real good to be a Dawg," said Jackson. "I am glad to be playing with friends that I have made like Brandon Boykin and Christian Robinson."
Jackson is a 6-foot-4, 250-pound explosive defensive end out of Griffin (Ga.) and he plays at a high level against the run and the pass. He has a great frame to add weight and he plans to train hard to do just that in the coming months.
He talks about that and what he plans to work on before he moves to Athens.
"I need to get in weight room and get stronger to play at UGA," he admitted. "I also want to improve my technique and try to get faster off the ball."
