Arkansas lineman visits Missouri

Russellville (AR) Matt Hall has been committed to Arkansas since September of 2006. After Bobby Petrino replaced Houston Nutt, questions arose as to how solid Hall's commitment to the Razorbacks was. After visiting Ole Miss over the weekend of January 18th, Hall made his way up to Columbia this weekend to check out Missouri. Hall's father, Mike, told PowerMizzou.com that his son enjoyed the trip northward.

Hall's father said that Hall's mother was the one who made the trip with the 6-foot-10 offensive lineman and after talking, she left Columbia impressed with the people in charge of the kids at Missouri.

The elder Hall said that he knew that it hadn't been a big visit weekend, but that h is son felt very welcome amongst the current players he met.

Hall's father said he hasn't met all the coaches, but was impressed with the one he met before Christmas, Missouri's coach Dave Steckel. He said that the coach was the kind of person he wanted coaching his son.

Hall's father said that he was glad that recruiting was almost over because he knew it had been tough over the past few weeks with all the changes. He said he thought a decision would be coming in the very near future.
