Hawks getting a good one in Solon sophomore
This past month, Solon sophomore James Morris became the earliest verbal commitment of Kirk Ferentz's tenure at Iowa. According to his head coach, Kevin Miller, the Hawkeyes are getting a good one both on and off the field in the 2010 prospect.
On the field, the 6-foot-2, 205-pound Morris led Solon to a 13-0 record and state championship in Class 2A this past year. Earning first team all-state honors at running back, the sophomore finished with 1,877 yards rushing and 28 touchdowns, while also racking up 79 tackles as a linebacker during the season.
