Douglas impressed with Tulsa

During the 2007 season, Tulsa struggled against the pass, giving up 273 yards through the air per game, including giving up more than 500 passing yards to two different opponents. To be fair, five other Conference-USA teams finished with worse pass defense statistics.

However, Todd Graham and his staff are taking an aggressive approach to fix it, and that includes recruiting Cornelius Douglas, a defensive back from Lawton, Okla., who recently took his first official visit to see the Tulsa campus.
