Ohio State Commitment to Visit Vols?

With bowl preparations about to begin in earnest, Tennessee's staff squeezed in visits all over the country in the first two weeks of December in a strong push to firm up January official visit dates. One of those prospects the staff has focused in on is four-star defensive end Willie Mobley, an Ohio State commitment from Eden Prairie, Minn.

Mobley (6-foot-2, 260 pounds, 4.8 40-yard dash) gave the Buckeyes a verbal commitment at the end of November. But in today's recruiting world, that doesn't necessarily mean that the door is completely closed. Is that the case with Mobley, or can the Vols perhaps pry a visit out of one of the nation's top defensive line prospects?

Right now things look promising.

Rivals.com rates Mobley as a four-star prospect, the No. 9 strong-side defensive end in the nation and a member of the Rivals.com Top-250.
