Chris Jordan entered this weekend with Alabama as his distinct favorite. Did his Clemson official visit firmly tie things up on top of his leader board?

"I would say it's even," Jordan told Tigerillustrated.com Monday afternoon. "My mom loved the graduation success of players on the team as well as the academic rank and the support staff."

What did the visit entail for the four-star athlete?

"I got in on Saturday and left Sunday and came with my mom Evelyn Cooper and step-dad Larry Cooper," he detailed. "The visit was great. The atmosphere was crazy and the coaches have made it hard for me to decide now. I really don't know where I want to go."

What really opened the eyes of the Brentwood (TN) Brentwood Academy product?

"The academic stuff stuck out to me the most and Tommy Bowden is a very trustworthy, honest Christian man," the Volunteer State standout indicated. "The atmosphere competes with Alabama's. It's just a matter of deciding where because at either place I can't go wrong."

Did anything really surprise him?
