Page close to narrowing focus

With his team coming up short in their run to the state playoffs, Columbia (S.C.) A.C. Flora four-star offensive lineman Kenneth Page can now begin to focus solely on the recruiting process.

"We just got kicked out of the playoffs on Friday," Page said. "We finished 5-6. I think individually I had a good season. I played (offensive) tackle and defensive line. I played end, tackle, and nose guard. I played (offensive) tackle the whole season."

At 6-foot-4, 293-pounds, Page has the ability to play inside or outside on the offensive line at the next level.

"Different schools tell me different things," he said. "Most of them see me better as a guard but they see me as having the ability to play tackle also. I'll just be in what position I'm going to be."

South Carolina and Clemson have been chasing Page for months, and it appears they are both in good position at this point in the process.

"The two in-state schools are coming at me the hardest right now," he said. "I think highly of both of those programs. I see both of them on the uprising. They're winning games. They have good coaching staffs and good academics. They're both well-rounded schools."
