Clemson has high hopes of landing a pair of stud running backs this year in anticipation of James Davis potentially leaving early for the NFL Draft. The Tigers already have one jewel on board in four-star all-purpose sensation Andre Ellington.

The other top candidate of choice is Jamie Harper, a 6-foot-2, 230-pound combination of speed and force. Where does the four-star Jacksonville (FL) Trinity Christian product currently rank Clemson among the rest of his contenders?

"My top five would be Clemson, Florida, Miami, LSU and I'd say Florida State," Harper told Tigerillustrated.com Tuesday evening. "Honestly, I wish I could just get the whole recruiting process over with right now, but I know I'm going to take all five of my visits, because you only get to go through this once in your life."

"It'll probably come down to National Signing Day," he continued. "I'm going to enjoy my visits and most likely make my decision then."
