Practice Notebook: All Eyes on Athens

After the New England Patriots were accused for allegedly spying on the New York Jets with a video camera, the question was posed to Georgia coach Mark Richt Thursday: What if an opponent tried that against the Bulldogs?

"I think every coach has thought someone's got his signals," Richt said. "I have and I've mentioned it before, I've gone from signaling plays to running them in. That's why a lot of times you'll see me get in a guy's ear and running the play in."

However, Richt said he can't pinpoint a time where he thought an opponent was trying to steal signals during a game.

Not that he hasn't wondered from time to time.

As the offensive coordinator at Florida State, Richt once saw a person on the opposite sideline with a camera and wondered what was up.
