Orange keys to victory vs. Illinois
Last season the Orange opened the season 0-2, losing a disappointing game on the road to Wake Forest and then a double-overtime heartbreaker in the Dome to Iowa.
Syracuse then traveled to Illinois to halt its skid and won its first game of the season, beginning a three game winning streak.
This season the Orange find themselves in a similar boat, already in an 0-2 hole and looking to find their way out with a win over the Illini.
But this season, the win is even more crucial. The Orange were destroyed in their first two losses and the game is in the Dome.
It's Greg Robinson's third season and the pressure is mounting for him to improve the program. Although a must-win game is a rarity in September, the Orange have one this Saturday, and its outcome will affect the rest of their season.
What are the keys to victory this week for Syracuse?

In their first two games, the Illini proved their secondary isn't their strongest unit. Against Missouri, Ron Zook's squad surrendered 359 yards through the air and three passing touchdowns.
If the offensive line can give Andrew Robinson some time, he should be able to find Mike Williams or Taj Smith open downfield.
