Surprising & Disappointing

With the first week of fall practice in the books decided to take a look at the players who have surprised and disappointed over the first ten practices. These are not the five best (or Percy Harvin would be included) or five worst Gator players, but rather those who have been better or worse than expected.

Part I consists of the returning players, in Part II we'll look at the incoming freshmen.


1. Jason Watkins: In our pre-camp Breakdown predicted that in the end Watkins would win the starting right tackle job over Carlton Medder. We assumed there would be a battle, but after a week of practices, Watkins has been a mainstay at tackle, while Medder has stayed inside full time (for the most part).
