Little has big decisions ahead

To be certain, Oakland (Calif.) Castlemont playmaker Chris Little will have plenty of decisions to make when he starts to narrow down his recruiting. Will he stay close to home? Will he end up in the Big 12? Will he play defense? As one of the premier athletes in the East Bay this upcoming season, Little's got plenty of decisions to make.

Being able to project how well a high school athlete will perform on the next level is never an exact science. A player might physically look dominant but doesn't perform up to his status. Other players might not look like a great athlete in person, but somehow always manages to outshine opponents. Sometimes though, the easiest way to decipher the task is to look at how the coaches themselves are recruiting a particular player.
