The life of a college football player is hectic enough, with classes, workouts, meetings and more workouts. But Drew Weatherford is taking it to another level this summer.
The junior quarterback is not only taking classes and participating in Florida State's off-season conditioning and strength programs; he's also working as an intern in the governor's office of legislative affairs.
That means that every weekday morning, when other students are still hitting their snooze buttons, Weatherford already is wearing a suit and tie and helping out at the Capitol. It makes for a busy day.
