ISU delivers offer to Oklahoma athlete

Iowa State recruited the state of Oklahoma well in the last couple of years of the previous coaching staff and things aren't changing much in the Chizik era. The Cyclones have an assistant coach with good connections in the state and have started putting out offers to some of the best in the state, including Lawton athlete Cornelius Douglas.

The 5-foot-10, 185-pound Douglas said he picked up his fifth offer, from ISU, this week.

Douglas, who also has offers from Kansas State, Tulsa, SMU and New Mexico and said schools such as Oklahoma State, Texas Tech and Kansas are recruiting him, spent a few years in Norman before moving back to Lawton for his junior year of high school.
