UGASports Video: Boling preparing for UGA
One of the Georgia signees that may not get talked about as much as he should is Clint Boling. Boling is a very athletic lineman that dreamed of playing in Athens. He earned an offer from UGA last summer and committed on the spot. He is now training hard to be as prepared as possible to compete this summer when he arrives.
Boling was about 6-foot-4, 220-pounds going into his junior season at Chattahoochee High School. He played tight end and defensive end there before moving to offensive tackle about mid way through the season.
He had started training at Competitive Edge Sports and he quickly got stronger and bigger. He got up to around 270-pounds by the summer for his senior year and he still was moving like he was 220-pounds.
Boling showed Georgia his quickness, his athleticism, his work ethic, and his potential at their camp and the Dawgs quickly offered him a scholarship. Boling had been a Georgia fan his entire life and his dream came true that day when he committed to UGA.
Since that day he has been solid to Georgia and working hard to be prepared for Athens. He plans to move to Georgia early in June and he will begin training then with his new teammates. Before he gets there he will be training at CES where he has grown leaps and bounds physically over the past 18-24 months.
UGASports.com traveled over to CES recently to watch Boling train and to show the Dawg fans out there what he is doing to prepare for his arrival in June.
This video is a MUST SEE for ALL Dawg fans as Boling trains hard. He did not get the recognition in recruiting we feel he deserves and we think he has a chance to be a very successful OL down the road at UGA. When it comes to working hard physically and mentally, Boling puts in his time. His heart if read and black and he will give it all he has.
