Georgia linebacker has USC in top four

Buford (Ga.) linebacker T.J. Pridemore is coming off a junior season during which he racked up 115 tackles at SAM linebacker. So far, he has been rewarded for his efforts with seven scholarship offers.

"South Carolina, Tennessee, West Virginia, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, UCF and Duke have offered me," the 6-foot-2, 230-pound Pridemore said. "My top four is Ole Miss, South Carolina, Tennessee, and West Virginia."

Pridemore, who runs the 40-yard dash in 4.55 seconds, attended South Carolina's junior day and enjoyed the experience.

"Coach (Shane) Beamer was recruiting me when he was at Mississippi State, and he got in touch with me once he took the job at South Carolina," Pridemore said. "It's only about three hours away from home, so it's a good location for me. I was very impressed with coach (Steve) Spurrier while I was there. Plus, coach Beamer would be my position coach there, so that would be good."
