Crawford and Dixon vow to return
When analyzing Texas Tech's 2005 and 2006 recruiting classes, it is hard to find two recruits with more raw ability than defensive end McKinner Dixon and safety Jocques Crawford. However, while both have never had problems taking care of business on the field, their struggles in the classroom have landed them both at Cisco Junior College.
Dixon, who was Tech's highest rated defensive recruit in recent memory, actually made it to campus and had an outstanding freshman campaign before grade concerns forced him out of Lubbock. Crawford, on the other had, was not a qualifier out of high school and enrolled last August at Cisco.
