Pullman Practice Report - Day 13


Coming off a practice featuring hail and snow, the WSU football team started Tuesday's practice a little bit early after seeing some dark clouds on the horizon. But unlike Monday, the weather did not interfere at all with the practice and the Cougars continued their preparation for the final spring scrimmage set for Saturday.

The running game was a focal point of the practice, with the three Cougar runners in uniform taking the handoffs in drill after drill. In a little under a month, the squad will see another running back return in Chris Ivory, who had to leave the spring workouts to attend some family problems back home in Texas. Ivory, who just enrolled in the summer school session at WSU, was enjoying a big spring and impressed coaches and players alike.
