UGASports Video: Curran is a Beast

UGASports.com traveled over to Competitive Edge Sports training facility recently to watch future Bulldog Rennie Curran prepare his body for SEC football. Curran is admired by many because of the way he looks physically and he shows what it takes in this video to look that way. We have video showing Curran training hard and we also have comments by him and his trainer at CES.

Some have questioned Curran's size in the past, but nobody can question his work ethic, strength, play on the field, heart, and love for the red and black. Since Curran committed to Georgia in April a year ago he has been training for Athens.

He spends so much time in the weight room preparing his body for the top level of competition. Curran at times trains twice a day and he has personal trainers for strength and speed.

Going into his senior year at Brookwood, Curran was weighing around 212-pounds. Since then he has been hitting the weights, getting bigger, stronger, and he is now up to 223-pounds. Along with his weight his strength has increased. Curran just went out and won the Georgia State weight lifting competition in March.

At the weight lifting meet, Curran benched the most in that category by putting up 500-pounds. He also power cleaned 320-pounds and that was the most in the competition. In squats he put up 500-pounds.

You get to see in this exclusive video feature here on UGASports.com just why Curran has the strength that he does. You see his work ethic, his trainer pushing him to get stronger, and the amazing physical specimen Curran is.

Just minutes after walking in, Curran's trainer Ryan Golden said, "I have never seen a kid as jacked as Rennie." You can exactly why he said that inside this feature.

Golden has worked with high school, college, and professional level athletes during his eight years as a trainer. He talks about Curran and says he could be the best he has ever trained in his time.

This is a must see video feature for the Bulldog Nation, so check it out right here.
