Nothing new for Gable
For sophomore running back C.J. Gable, spring practice began the same way fall camp ended.
Getting the majority of reps at tailback, Gable's quest to lock down a starting position going into fall camp is in full stride. Now 6-foot-1, 198-pounds, the three-time All-City selection is excited to be a part of USC's dynamic rushing attack.
Gable may be wearing a new number this season, but No. 2 is hoping to bring back memories of his back-to-back 2,000 rushing seasons at Sylmar High School. The former five-star tailback only rushed for 434 as a true freshman at USC a year ago, but he also shared carries with Chauncey Washington and Emmanuel Moody.
