Five new faces to watch this spring

Spring practice gets going in a matter of hours for the Missouri Tigers. Over the next five weeks, the Tigers will set the foundation for a 2007 season that many expect to be a breakout for the program. Jeremy Maclin: It's just too obvious. He has to be number one on this list. Maclin was the first name every Tiger mentioned last summer. The kid has unbelievable talent.

He came back from a blown knee and ran a sub 4.4 this spring. He's got all the tools and just might have enough to break into the starting lineup by the first game.

Sean Weatherspoon: Spoon made some waves when he played as a true freshman last year. He did get a blocked punt for a safety early in the season, but for the most part, he simply learned the ropes last year. Lesson over. Weatherspoon is going to start at outside linebacker.

The Tigers have lacked true difference-makers at that position the last few years and if this defense is going to be better, Weatherspoon needs to be one.
