Westphal looking for early decision

Gopher offensive line coach Phil Meyer is already using his Wisconsin connections to find talent in the Badger state. The first Dairyland prospect to receive a Gopher offer under the Brewster administration is Menasha defensive end Tyler Westphal. The 6-foot-6, 230 pound Westphal has a second offer from Virginia and plenty of other interest around the country. Westphal's indicates that the current plans are to commit this Spring.

It is rare to find an ACC school on the recruiting trail in the upper Midwest.
