Sylvester talks Georgia's Junior Day

The University of Georgia held it's first Junior Day this past Saturday and they had a number of recruits on campus. One prospect that visited Athens was linebacker Steven Sylvester. Athens is a pretty familiar place to Sylvester because he has been there a number of times before.

"I have been to Georgia a lot, so I didn't see too much that was new to me," Sylvester said about Junior Day. "One thing that I did see new was the dining facilities and they blew me away. I didn't realize they had so many and that they were so nice. That and the dorms really stood out to me on Saturday."

Outside of the campus tour, checking out the dining facilities, and watching the Dawgs beat Auburn in basketball, Sylvester had a chance to talk with the Georgia coaches.

"I hung out a lot with Coach Willie Martinez (Sylvester's Recruiting Coach) and Coach John Jancek (UGA LB Coach)," he said. "I like both of them and I got a chance to know them better on Saturday."

"I spent a lot of time with them during the day and we talked about a lot of stuff. They let me know that they still like me a lot and they talked about the position I could play if I came there. They said I could play any of the three linebacker positions at Georgia."
