Forston holds multiple offers
Rivals.com Junior All-American Marcus Forston of Miami's Northwestern High is one of the top defensive tackle prospects in the Southeast for the Class of 2008. In the early stages of this recruiting cycle, the talented Forston has picked up multiple scholarship offers and has his eye on several additional programs that have his attention.
"A lot of people have offered me," Forston said. "I've got offers from Miami (Fla.), Florida, Rutgers, Tennessee, Auburn and Ole Miss."
The 6-foot-3, 280-pounder had good things to say about the hometown Canes.
"I've got a big interest in Miami," Forston said. "I've known (Hurricanes head coach) Randy Shannon since my ninth grade year because I've been going to camp over there. I know that program is going to do great things because they've got a great man in charge right now."
Forston attended the Florida Junior Day on Feb. 3 in Gainesville.
