The biggest recruiting coup: DT Antonio Jeremiah
Defensive tackle recruiting had been the Achilles heel of the John L. Smith era. The signing of Ryan Wheat was a positive step, but the Spartans needed to sign Rivals 250 DT to pair with him. Jeremiah was a blip on the radar under the old staff. Coach Dantonio wasted no time making Jeremiah a top priority and was able to get his commitment. Whenever you can get a commitment from the #4 player in Ohio that is a big deal. Just to compare the last 3 4th ranked players in Ohio have signed with Michigan, Ohio State and Oklahoma.
2nd Place: OL Arthur Ray Jr.:
Ray has the potential to be a great interior offensive linemen.
Best bet to be a star: WR Mark Dell
SpartanMag.com has been high on Dell's ability from early in the process. We were sold when as a junior he was clearly better that 2006 Division 1 prospects Sidney Stewart and Aaron Webster. Dell's performances at the Nike Camp and then at the Michigan State summer camp only served to reinforce our assessment of him. What makes Dell special in pour opinion is his ability to go in an out of his cuts without losing a lot of his speed.

Everson can do a lot of things on both sides of the ball.
