Florida junior with two early offers

Class of 2008 running back Santuan McGee of Tallahassee (Fla.) Florida High has two early scholarship offers and could be one of more highly-recruited prospects at his position in his area of Florida during the next recruiting cycle.

East Carolina and South Florida have offered the 5-foot-10, 175-pounder.

"His speed and balance really stand out," Florida High head coach Justin Hickman said. "There are a lot of guys who can make moves in the open field, but not all of them have the balance that he has.

"He can also fly."

McGee led Florida Class 2B, District 3 with 729 yards and 16 touchdowns during his junior season. He also led the district in scoring with 96 total points. He rushed for 113 yards during a win over Jefferson County.

McGee also plays basketball.
