Waco product has options
Antonio Johnson does not fit a mold, he creates his own.
The Waco High senior led the way for one of the toughest defenses in the Lone Star state. He wrapped up 76 tackles, 23.5 behind the line of scrimmage and 16.5 sacks in 2006 on his way to the Waco Tribune-Herald Super CenTex Defensive MVP. Still colleges were hesitant to offer.
Johnson stands 6-1, 205-pounds, and plays defensive end for coach Johnny Tusa's 4A state runner-up. His athleticism could allow him to play a number of positions, and allowed him to return punts and kickoffs at times throughout his career. It is also why Baylor and Kansas State, his two offers, are recruiting him at safety and outside linebacker.
