Top junior taking unofficial visits

The countdown to signing day is on. Two weeks from Wednesday seniors across the country will begin the process of making their decisions official by signing binding national letter of intents to the college of their choice.

But college coaches are already starting to turn their attention to the Class of 2008, and one name that will surely be a popular one from the state of North Carolina is linebacker Terrell Manning from Scotland County High in Laurinburg.

The 6-foot-2, 205-pounder had over 100 tackles as a junior and impressed scouts with his 4.55-second speed in the 40-yard dash. He also bench presses 275 pounds.
