Anderson likes the 'ordinary' players

While some players tend to get a little uppity once they get to the next level, the recruits that visited Starkville saw a different side of collegiate athletics. That attitude had a big effect on Damein Anderson while on his visit and made his more firm in his decision. He talks about that mentality.

"It was alright," he began. "I'd rate it a 7 or 8." He was hosted by Keith Fitzhugh and liked the way all of the players carried themselves.

"I liked the way the players were ordinary," he said. "Just like my friends at home. I just went up there and had a good time. It's a tight place."
