Glades trio: 'Let it snow'

MORGANTOWN--Recruiting is a war, let's face it. Not the kind that service men and women fight around the world, but certainly equal to what businesses go through in buy-outs, leverages and raids among themselves.

But the biggest "fight" this weekend here was a benign one. It was when 6-foot-4, 270-pound Jatavious Jackson and 6-5, 330-pound Ernest McCoy dueled with snowballs.

The two, together with Belle Glade (Fla.) Glades Central teammate Taurus McKinley, were in town on official recruiting visits with West Virginia. The three of them rated their meetings at the Puskar Center, stadium and campus highly when they returned home, and two of them insisted they loved the snow. It was their first time in the white stuff that fell over the University City.

Jackson, McCoy (a Rivals.com 4-star) and McKinley were part of a Florida entourage that included two other visitors from the state--defensive back Junior Petit-Jean of Naples and Darius Jackson of Havana East Gadsden High also were on hand.
