Exclusive Video: Knox loves to hit

Georgia commitment John Knox played in the Georgia North-South All-Star game late in December and he played a great game. Knox lined up at safety and was in on many plays from sideline to sideline. He showed his ability to hit, wrap up, and tackle throughout the game. UGASports.com was there and we have this exclusive video that is a MUST SEE for Dawg fans.

Prospect: John Knox

High School: Statesboro (Lester, Ga.)

Class: 2007

Position: Defensive Back (Safety)

Vitals: 6-2, 195-pounds, 4.65

Offers: Auburn, Georgia Tech, Maryland, South Carolina, Georgia, and others.

Favorites: Committed to Georgia.

The Skinny: Knox is known for his hard hitting, but he can cover as well. In the Statesboro defense, he lines up around 25 yards off the ball, so he doesn't get a chance to showcase his talents as much as he would like, but when the ball comes his way, he makes plays. His size could give Georgia the option of moving him to linebacker in the future. Overall, Knox is a very good safety right now.

He played safety in the Georgia North-South All-Star game and he wore number 23. He was in on close to 10 tackles even though he was battling a high ankle sprain.
