Castonzo set to visit Vanderbilt on Friday

One of the Commodores top remaining targets is Fork Union Military Academy's Anthony Castonzo of Fork Union, Virginia. The former Lake Zurich High(IL) standout took a post grad year at the popular FUMA, looking to improve his stock on the recruiting front.


As a senior at Lake Zurich, Castonzo was an excellent student as a Illinois state scholar. However, the then 6-foot-7, 225 pound offensive tackle/tight end prospect only received major interest from schools like Yale, Princeton, and Holy Cross. Since then Castonzo has improved his forty time and put on over 30 pounds and has seen his stock rise significantly to the point that he now holds major conference offers from Vanderbilt, Virginia, Duke, Connecticut, as well as from Temple, UNLV, East Carolina, Western Kentucky and a number of other MAC schools. Overall, close to 30 schools have offered Castonzo.
