Decision less than 24 hours away for O'Dowd

The clock is ticking down for the decision of four-star offensive lineman Kristofer O'Dowd (6-5, 315, 5.1) from Tucson (Ariz.) Salpointe Catholic. In less than 24 hours O'Dowd will make his decision known. It is down to four schools and they are Tennessee, USC, UCLA and Arizona.

In an interesting twist to the story, O'Dowd decided to take an official visit to Arizona, which was a change in his recruiting strategy. The talented O'Dowd lives very close to the college and has been there several times.

"I had a good trip to Arizona," O'Dowd said. "It was fun stuff."

"I didn't necessarily learn anything new, but there were things I wasn't sure about that were cleared up."

The Arizona trip helped O'Dowd see things more clearly so now he can make a well informed decision.

O'Dowd said he still isn't sure on what school he will announce for on Thursday. USC gets the last shot as Trojans will have an in-house with O'Dowd this evening.
