Top SC junior making the rounds

North Charleston (S.C.) Fort Dorchester defensive end Robert Quinn is expected to be one of the top defensive prospects in the Southeast for the Class of 2008. The 6-foot-5, 245-pounder has picked up multiple early scholarship offers and has been taking Saturday trips to college stadiums in the region to get a feel for some of his early suitors.

"I have offers from Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina, Clemson, Middle Tennessee State and Auburn," Quinn said. "That's about it so far."

Quinn attended Tennessee's home game against Florida on Sept. 16 and South Carolina's home game against Georgia on Sept. 9. He plans to visit Auburn on Oct. 14 when the Tigers play host to Florida and says he possibly could be in Clemson for the Tigers' home game with the rival Gamecocks on Nov. 25.
