The Buffaloes' next commitment?

Devan Johnson wears the No. 17 and is known as one of the most versatile offensive players in the Keystone State. The 6-foot-1, 235-pounder from Pittsburgh (Pa.) Woodland Hills was an all-conference selection last season and he has played well so far this fall as a junior.

His attributes might remind some Colorado football fans of a former Buff by the name of Lawrence Vickers, who also wore No. 17 and manned a position coined "Versatile back".

Colorado, West Virginia, Kent, Michigan State, Michigan, Arizona State and Syracuse have been the main colleges involved in his recruitment.
