OB report: Injuries, position switch, news & notes
The Hurricanes practiced tonight in front of several hundred fans at the Orange Bowl.
The session was open to the public.
Noticeable on the sidelines were two new additions to the injury report: OL Ian Symonette had his knee wrapped in ace bandages and was on crutches.
"He had surgery to remove a screw he had in a previous surgery," coach Larry Coker said. "Ian had surgery in high school. It was irritating his knee, causing some swelling. He had that surgically removed. It should be a few days. He should be fine."
