Freshmen officially report to Miami

Miami's team reported today, and with the exception of Orlando Franklin (see front page story), coach Larry Coker said everyone is ready to begin practice Monday morning.


The freshmen checked in and were fitted for helmets, pads and cleats.


"It's like a dream come true," freshman running back Javarris James said. "It finally feels like you made it. But I'm not satisfied yet. This is just step one."


"To be here at Miami is an experience like no other," fellow freshman Ryan Hill said.


Receiver Sam Shields added, "It's very exciting right now. I'm getting ready to work hard, get in the lineup for Florida State."
