Buckeyes closing in on another commitment

A few months ago the Buckeyes seemed like the farthest thing from West Chester (Ohio) Lakota West defensive end Solomon Thomas' mind.

The 6-foot-4 and 210-pound Thomas had scholarship offers from North Carolina State, Boston College, Illinois, Louisville and others. He also was thinking he wanted to play his college football in the South.

How things have changed. The turnaround began when Thomas had a great performance at Ohio State's senior advanced camp June 23. He also spent time talking to the Ohio State coaches, and was very impressed with everything he saw while at OSU.
