Talented RB visits KU

The Kansas Jayhawks are recruiting a number of talented running backs from the class of 2007. One prospect in particular traveled to Lawrence, Kan., late last week for an unofficial visit. This extremely talented running back has several scholarship offers on the table, including one from KU.

Derrick Washington, the 6-foot, 181-pound running back from Raymore-Peculiar (MO) High School took an unofficial visit to Kansas late last week. According to the talented prospect, he had a great visit.

As far as his recruitment goes, Washington is being heavily recruited by the likes of Colorado State, Iowa, Kansas, Kansas State, Missouri, Nebraska, Wisconsin and Ball State.

He has scholarship offers from Colorado State, Kansas, Missouri and Ball State.
