On Sunday Huntington Beach (Calif.) Edison offensive tackle Martin Coleman returned to USC for the lineman camp. The last time he worked out on campus was at the NIKE camp back in April where Coleman had an impressive showing. Since then the four-star tackle has decided to accept a scholarship offer from the Trojans and will be an important part of the 2007 class.
The camp was run by the USC coaching staff and closely resembled one of the team's practices. It was very high tempo, high energy with players running from station to station.
"It is all intense and that is why this school is the best," Coleman said after the camp concluded. "It was a lot of help to me, especially technique wise it was a lot of help."
The techniques Coleman and his campmates were exposed to give the players a glimpse into what the world of college football is like.
"I take it all in from coaches like Pete Carroll and Pat Ruel and then work on it after," Coleman said.
