Buckeyes top Rivals100 back's list

Ohio State seems to be sticking to the old axiom that a team can never have too much depth in its backfield.

Despite having one of the top tailbacks already inked in their class of 2007, the Buckeyes are now setting their sights on John Clay, a unanimous choice as the top player in the state of Wisconsin during his junior year.

Listed as a four-star prospect and the No. 7 running back in the country by Rivals.com, Clay could become the second tailback in the class of 2007 to commit to the scarlet and gray.

The Buckeyes secured a commitment from Piqua's Brandon Saine in early May, himself a four-star prospect and the No. 6 tailback in the country as listed by Rivals.com.
