Jones weighs in

Not much has changed for Oklahoma City, Oklahoma athlete Gerald Jones. Arguably Oklahoma's most electrifying player, Jones has a drawer full of scholarship offers from a veritable 'who's who' of college football. He has many paths available to him and it seems as if whatever path he ends up taking will lead him out of the Sooner State.

"I'll probably go out of state," Jones explained. "The most important things are team unity and how players are treated by the coaches. I want a team that's built like a big family. Then, of course, good academics and a good graduation percentage."

The Red Raiders' apparent success graduating their players is just one reason why Jones is interested. The 6-foot 185-pound standout visited Texas Tech in April and came away very impressed.
