Castille excells in off-season

Quentin Castille put basketball aside this spring and concentrated on football offseason, which has paid dividends.

Castille, who played at 220 pounds last season, hit the weights and has shot up to 242 pounds of good muscle.

"This is his first offseason ever in high school," La Porte coach Jeff Lareau said. "It paid off and the coaches that come in here double-take. He's still running a 4.6, 40-yard dash also."
